Finding Your Inner Turtle

.

Is it possible, in a world where constant deadlines and trying to cram as many activities into as little time as possible are the norm, to slow down and really experience life to the fullest?

Is it possible, in the cult of speed that has become our environment, to take the time to cultivate relationships with co-workers, family members and friends; to linger over evening meals; to relax and enjoy the company of good friends, or the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of great holidays?

International supporters of The Slow Movement not only believe that all of this is possible, but are finding more and better ways of slowing down and finding their inner turtle so they can gain more pleasure out of the everyday activities of daily living.
