Imagine what it would be like if you could live anywhere in the world you wanted to.
On a lush green South Pacific Island surrounded by pristine white beaches and cool, clear aquamarine waters. Or in a medieval Italian village with narrow cobblestone streets and panoramic vistas of vineyards and distant hillsides. Or maybe downtown Toronto, New York or Barcelona is more your style. Or how about having the opportunity of living in all of these places, moving from one location to another as the desire strikes.
Without losing your income or compromising your lifestyle!!
I know. I sound a little bit like a snake oil salesperson, but the reality is that a growing number of individuals of all ages are living just that kind of lifestyle!
They are designing lifestyles for themselves that are totally, completely, location independent. Giving themselves the freedom to pursue other interesting opportunities that present themselves, when they present themselves.
Could you design this type of lifestyle for yourself??
Not all nomadic lifestyles need to be ‘nomadic’.
Living in a small town while working in the career of your dreams as a location independent professional
There are any number of reasons to want a location independent lifestyle that do not involve any travel at all. For example, you might really enjoy the job you do, but not the location you have to live in, in order to remain within commuting distance of this job.
Or you might want to spend winters in the big city and summers at the cottage beside the lake (O.K. that one does require a little bit of traveling – but not much 
Although a nomadic, location independent lifestyle can take many shapes, depending mostly on what the individual is looking for, there are a couple of basic characteristics that all nomadic, location independent lifestyles share:
- It’s a very portable lifestyle with few, if any, ties to any one location;
- Participants of this lifestyle work virtually from home, with “home’ being potentially anywhere in the world;
- Participants earn an income that supports their chosen lifestyle; and
- Participants are not only passionate about the careers they have chosen, but they are also passionate about the freedom that this location independent lifestyle gives them.
